Excel Pivot Tables Add-In -- PivotPower
The PivotPower add-in helps you by automating many of the features that aren't built in to an Excel pivot table, and by making some of the buried Excel pivot table features easier to access.
For example, you can quickly clear old items from an Excel pivot table, or hide all the grand totals, or change all the data fields from using the Count function to using the Sum function.
You can download a free copy of the PivotPower add-in at the link below, and install it by following the steps outlined below.

Add-In Features
The PivotPower add-in for Excel pivot tables creates a PIVOT menu on the Excel menu bar, and adds several functions that will help you format and automate the pivot tables in your workbook.
For example, instead of writing a macro to protect the pivot table, and prevent users from making any changes to the pivot table, you can simply click the Restrict Features command on the PIVOT menu.
You can also reset the pivot table captions, so they go back to the originals settings, or see when the pivot table was last refreshed. With the PIVOT menu, it will be easy to print a copy of the pivot table for each item in the page field, or remove all the drop down lists from the row, column and page fields.
